ENCHANTED GARDEN COLLECTION

The Enchanted Garden Collection draws inspiration from symbols in mythical gardens like those found in Hieronymus Bosch's "Garden of Earthly Delights" and the Garden of Eden.  Some of the symbols highlighted in this fine jewelry collection are the bunny, cross, and snake as well as floral and leaf inspired designs.

These mythical symbols echo themes of abundance, renewal, hope, and transformation.  The Carved Opal Bunny ring, in particular, embodies the fusion of innovative jewelry making techniques with traditional metalsmithing. The bunny was hand carved by experts in Idar-Oberstein, famous for its gem cutters, many who started their careers under the renowned jeweler Fabergé. The basket-weave pattern achieved in 18k gold with the help of CAD, was finished by a skilled traditionally taught British metalsmith.

While the bunny symbolizes abundance and new beginnings, other symbols in the collection, such as the snake and cross are recurring motifs in jewelry. The snake has always held a mysterious quality and the idea that it sheds and renews its skin, can also represent new beginnings.

My intention for this collection is to evoke personal interpretations rather than literal ones. Symbols can hold diverse meanings for different people and I invite you to find your own personal meaning in the pieces of this collection.
